The house has been, with the best materials and equipment, entirely renovated. During the ongoing renovation, we made sure to pay attention and respect Mother Nature as much as we could. We embed the materials and equipment found closest to the house. The yard has been paved with natural schist, which was brought from the Šentviška Mountain. While distributing the living spaces we respected our former ancestors. You enter the house through the kitchen that has been equipped with all kitchen utensils and appliances, including a wood stove will keep you warm to keep you warm on colder days. Electric floor heats all rooms of the house. You can relax and watch television in the living room, but for the sake of nostalgia we have installed some of our grandparents’ furniture into the first floor’s intermediate space. You can enter the two tastefully furnished bedrooms (3 + 2); both of them offer a balcony; from the two you can view the valley, all the way to mount Kanin and Prestreljenik, in clear weather you might just catch a glimpse of mount Krn. The house is supplied with a bathroom with a separate sanitary room, along with a washing machine.
As soon as you step outside, you will see a garden with planted fruit trees. If the fruit happens to ripen during your visit, feel free to enjoy it. The outside is ideal for getting together with family and friends; you can also use the outside grill and the socialising space for your own entertainment. There is a smaller house for storing fishing and biking equipment and an idyllic wine cellar next to the main building.
The nearest shop is only 200m away from the house, same goes for the post office and a tavern. The nearest gas station is only 5km away, as well as the nearest healthcare facility and a pharmacy in Tolmin. We do hope you will not need those during your stay.
As we brought the house to life and breathed in a part of each of us, we thought of you. Let the landscape around you fill you with positive energy as it did with our family. We wish you the most pleasant holidays.
Igor, Tanja and Katarina
